Dr. Ameet Hira was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He received a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) degree in South Africa in 2006.

His undergraduate accolades include:

The millner’s dental suppliers prize for being the best BDS student in Anatomy.

​The CJ Dreyer in fourth year of study (BDS) for achieving the best results in general medicine and general surgery.

Regular checkups are essential to ensuring good long-term health of your teeth. This preventative approach will ensure that we can try and prevent possible future gum and teeth related problems. Services

Consultation

Consultation involves diagnosing your presenting concern and discussing treatment options for you. Xrays and additional tests may be needed at an extra cost.

Check up and clean

As the old adage goes ‘prevention is better than cure’. Ongoing dental care is important. This includes a consultation, xrays, scale, polish and fluoride treatment.

Kids dental treatment

We offer a range of treatment options including check up and cleans, fissure seals, xrays, fillings and more.

Xrays

State of the art technology offering digital intra-oral (in the mouth) xrays and full mouth scans.

Fillings

Decay (‘holes’) in teeth require fillings to help prevent progression of disease and tooth ache. We offer high quality resin (tooth colored) fillings to blend in with your natural teeth.

Extractions

Sometimes we cannot save teeth and sadly it requires removal. After consultation, xray and diagnosis, the tooth will be removed.

Teeth Whitening

 Smile with confidence with our home kit teeth whitening packages.

Veneers

Veneers bring out the beauty in your smile by bonding thin tooth colored porcelain or resin facings tooth your teeth.

Crowns

Sometimes if the decay or damage to a tooth is too great, we may recommend a crown to protect the weak tooth as a filling may not be suitable. A crown is a tooth-shaped ‘cap’ that covers a tooth and is also sometimes used for cosmetic purposes.

Bridge

Sometimes if a tooth is missing and you don’t want a denture or an implant, a bridge can be recommended. A bridge literally bridges the gap between two teeth by using two crowns fused to a false porcelain tooth in the middle.

Mouthguards

Sport can be fun but sadly injuries occur. Mouthguards help protect teeth from trauma and should be worn during any form of contact sport.

Dental implants

A dental implant is a great way to replace a missing tooth or teeth as an alternative treatment option for a denture or a bridge. It involves placing a medical-grade titanium component inside the jaw bone and then fitting a porcelain crown on top.Your suitability for dental implants will be assessed by us.

Dentures

Sometimes all you need is a cost-effective way of replacing teeth. A denture may be the answer. A denture, which may be a plastic type or metal type, is a removable replacement option for missing teeth, which means it can be removed from the mouth.
